At Keyes Insurance Brokerage, our rich history of serving our clients goes back to 1926 when the first Keyes Insurance was founded in Gananoque, Ontario by J.F. Keyes. Fast forward to 1980 when third-generation founder Terry Keyes started his brokerage here in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The current President and owner, Shaun Keyes, began working with his father in 1996 and purchased the company in 2019. Four generations, one philosophy: treat our customers like our family. Today the same values apply, and we are proud to be one of the few remaining independent insurance brokerages in Nova Scotia.
