President
Shaun's insurance career began 1996. A fourth-generation insurance broker, he has the Trust, Integrity and Expertise to find solutions for customers of any size. These 3 principles that guide Shaun and his company are why he is consistently the top choice for Nova Scotia most prominent Families and business owners. Shaun is the proud father of three girls. When he is not working or with family, he can usually be found with his closest friends at Ashburn Golf Club.

Commercial Account Executive / Partner
Since 2018, George has structured complex commercial insurance programs across Atlantic Canada, with a focus on construction, real estate, hospitality, and sports/contingency portfolios. He builds clean, defensible coverage solutions and negotiates relentlessly to reduce admin, control total cost, and deliver no-surprise renewals—so clients spend less time on paperwork and more time building their business. Known for strong relationships with major insurers and MGAs, he leads with transparency and a trust-first client approach. Off the clock, he is active in his church and local community, organizes youth basketball and soccer (and still plays), and—an unapologetic sports-analytics nerd—enjoys breaking down game film, optimizing fantasy football and NBA rosters, and unwinding with a good game of chess.

Chad Caldwell
Operations Manager
Chad started with Keyes Insurance back in 2011 after graduating NSCC studying Investment Management. He has completed his CAIB designation and has worked in all departments in our office. Chad is well versed in both personal lines and commercial lines insurance.

Teresa was born in Bridgewater. She has worked in the insurance industry since 2002 working for an insurance company and has been with Keyes Insurance since 2018. She enjoys spending her free time playing games with her son.

Liam graduated from Saint Mary’s University with his bachelor’s degree and majored in Entrepreneurship. He is currently working towards his CAIB designation. In his spare time, he enjoys watching football and spending time outdoors with his dog.

Cody Brown
Sales Broker
Cody started in the insurance industry in 2011 with Royal Sun and Alliance after graduating from NSCC with a marketing and management diploma. After his short stint with RSA, Cody moved into life insurance processing, managing people in a business development setting. He then moved into restaurant management and quickly found his way back into the insurance sector. He is working towards his CAIB designation and is currently licensed to write new business in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and PEI. He is a father of two living in Bedford and if he is not watching football, he is busy coaching his kid’s soccer and basketball.

Angela Hughes

Angela was born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, and relocated to Halifax to attend Saint Mary’s University. Following her studies, she worked in the hospitality industry before beginning her insurance career in 2012. Angela joined Keyes in September 2025 as an Account Manager, where she strives to build strong client relationships and provide exceptional service . Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her six-year-old daughter and many nieces and nephews, adventures outdoors, and prioritizes health and well being.

Sean started off his insurance career in 2023 after graduating from Dalhousie University in Business Management. He has recently completed his CAIB designation and is part of the customer success team. He speaks English and Korean coming from a diverse background. Sean enjoys spending time with friends and family in his free time.
Katie Chiasson

Katie has been part of the insurance industry since 2022 and is a valued member of the Keyes Insurance service department. She truly enjoys assisting clients and building strong relationships with them. Outside of work, Katie is active in sports—she plays soccer and enjoys golfing. She is also a passionate animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs. She looks forward to continuing to connect with clients and being part of the Keyes Insurance family for years to come.

Noah was born in Sydney, Cape Breton and relocated to Bedford at a young age. He is currently attending Dalhousie University, working toward a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Political Science and Economics. He began working in the insurance industry in January of this year. In his free time, Noah enjoys playing sports and watching hockey.
